Machu Picchu


It is in excellence  the emblematic site of Peru, known and recognized throughout the world. That is why, when someone visits this place, we would believe that we we are in another world. It is an exceptional place and it is full of mysteries. In addition it is one of the 7 wonders of the world.
This sacred city  forgotten during centurie is considered as the main work  of inca`s  architecture.
It is Located at the east of the Andean Mountains at 2438 meters of altitude, it is the begining of the amazon forest too. The name Machu Picchu comes from the quechua that means “Old Mountain” or “Old summit”.
We can see there 172 buildings  that are extended  on approximately 530 meters in length and 200 meters in width. They are part of a territory called “historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu” that is extended on 32 592 hectares.
This city, according to the historians, would have been built  during the emperor Pachacutec`s reign  possibly towards 1440. The Incas built in this place many  administrative centers and  agricultural complexes with cultures in terrace. Eight Inca`s  ways  joined the nearer regions.
If you visit Peru, this place is truly  inevitable  place to know  and to take into  account  the wonder and the wealth of the inca`s  culture.

Máncora


Màncora is certainly the  most beautiful beach that  it is possible to be found in Peru. The view is paradisiac and in addition it is a place where it is possible to rest and to be benefit from the panorama or to enjoy because it is a highly festive place in the country. There are innumerable tourists who always are well received. It is a very well known beach by the surfers. The Pacific Ocean offers numerous waves which are attractive to practice surfing.
The weather is hot and dry because the city is located in the North of Peru closely together to Ecuador. It`s very important to wear sun protectors  there mainly  between December and April.
During September and October, we  can find dolphins that swim along the sea. For the people inloved of the nature and the animals, it is a unique moment to admire and  touch them in its own natural space.
In conclussion, in every season of the year, this city is full of surprises and enchantment, for all the pleasures.

The Peruvian Forest


The forest is one of the richest ecosystems in the world and covers near 60% of the Peruvian territory. It is also one of the zones with the greatest and biological diversity of the world.
In the forest we can see many animals from smallest to the biggest. Peru is considered one of the 5 countries of the world with more animal and vegetable  diversity.

There are not less than 3000 species of butterflies among them, some of rare beauty, 1816 species of birds, 4000 types of orchids and there are  not less tha  416 mammals. That is to say, that we have to keep the eyes well opened besides knowing how to wait for patient and quiet.
It is possible to see monkeys, pumas, jaguars that are frightful predators, many serpents, being the most well-known among them : the Anaconda, they are lazy and very difficult for being seen because at night they are camouflaged between the plants, the lights of the lamps allow to see the reddish eyes of the crocodiles in the rivers… Throughout, you will hear the diverse birds to remind you that they are in the middle of the Amazon and  the nature.
The fish that  are in the rivers are generally enormous and magnificent. There are also the famous pink dolphins and piranhas that can be fished with chicken´s bloody vísceras! Finally, we don`t have to forget the  flying serpents that from time to time they crash against the trees.
The Forest is a place to discover, if you wish to lose yourself there and to approach the nature still more, you can find the last native tribes that will make you  discover their ancestral rites and you will be able to dream magically in the middle of everything.

Chan Chan


Chan Chan, from the muchik Na-Cham that means “house of the serpent” or also it can be considered the translation from Jean-Jean in the Chimú language that means “sun”; it is a pre-Columbian metropolis of the Chimú empire, built in the North coast of Peru, it is located at the moment in the northwest of Trujillo city between the districts of Trujillo and Huanchaco.

Chan Chan locks up in itself an ancestral, mystical and full world of history. Being in Chan Chan those mysteries about their old beliefs  are perceived, sacred cults that by the time is passing they are lost, but  little by little are being revealed by the archeology, like for example the cult that they rendered to the Water or the Sea; we can appreciate the iconography of the murals of the Tschudi Palace. Chan Chan is a city of about 18 km.2 , it has been calculated a population of 200.000 thousand people.

Arequipa


Arequipa, that means “the place behind the mountain”, is with Cusco beautiful, great, modern, historical and with much day and night activities Peruvian cities.  Arequipa is characterized by its large houses, churches and convents which are the main attractiveness of their Historical Center.
Taking a walk by its paved streets it would be done without haste, to be able for seeing each detail that conforms its architecture, let yourselves dazzle with the whiteness of sillar and feel the force of the Misti, the omnipresent volcano in eternal watch that is strangely similar to the Fuji mount located in Japan.
It is also one of the few Peruvian cities  truly clean, since it is swept and washed every day. For that reason their inhabitants are so proud of their cosmopolitan city and also, due to the numerous European migrations that is a particular feeling for themselves being more “Arequipeños” than peruvian.
Besides the Historical Center, there are the surroundings of the city, being there is to appreciate the green  beauty of the countryside and to breathe the pure air of the Andes. Between the magical more representative places of this side of Peru, there are: The Colca`s Canyon ideal to practice sports of adventure and in addition to  watch the famous flight of the Condor; Ampato Volcano, place where a bundle Inca was found, which is a type of conical bulk formed by several weave layers  where the deads were involved , this bundle was found with the rest of a girl, baptized like Lady de Ampato, considered like a pre-Hispanic mummy in better state of conservation in all the planet.
Arequipa keeps in addition places like the petroglyphs to Died Toro, the Valley of Volcanos, the Spa of Camaná and many places more than do not have to stop discovering.
