Arequipa

Arequipa, that means “the place behind the mountain”, is with Cusco beautiful, great, modern, historical and with much day and night activities Peruvian cities.  Arequipa is characterized by its large houses, churches and convents which are the main attractiveness of their Historical Center.
Taking a walk by its paved streets it would be done without haste, to be able for seeing each detail that conforms its architecture, let yourselves dazzle with the whiteness of sillar and feel the force of the Misti, the omnipresent volcano in eternal watch that is strangely similar to the Fuji mount located in Japan.
It is also one of the few Peruvian cities  truly clean, since it is swept and washed every day. For that reason their inhabitants are so proud of their cosmopolitan city and also, due to the numerous European migrations that is a particular feeling for themselves being more “Arequipeños” than peruvian.
Besides the Historical Center, there are the surroundings of the city, being there is to appreciate the green  beauty of the countryside and to breathe the pure air of the Andes. Between the magical more representative places of this side of Peru, there are: The Colca`s Canyon ideal to practice sports of adventure and in addition to  watch the famous flight of the Condor; Ampato Volcano, place where a bundle Inca was found, which is a type of conical bulk formed by several weave layers  where the deads were involved , this bundle was found with the rest of a girl, baptized like Lady de Ampato, considered like a pre-Hispanic mummy in better state of conservation in all the planet.
Arequipa keeps in addition places like the petroglyphs to Died Toro, the Valley of Volcanos, the Spa of Camaná and many places more than do not have to stop discovering.
