Nazca Lines

Considered as a great mystery, due to the fact that the archeologists have not still  discovered which is the purpose that the Lines had,  these consist in  several hundreds of figures that include designs as simple as lines up to complex zoomorfas, fitomorfas and geometric figures that turn out to be planned in the terrestrial surface. In addition these figures only can be observed totally from the air, that is to say overflying the zone. The lines of Nazca are perfect, technically speaking. The straight lines enclose a perfection with a few small diversions along kilometres. 

The drawings are well proportionated, especially if it is thought about their dimensions. These lines also are a testimony of a great geometric knowledge of the former inhabitants of this zone. Many hypotheses have appeared to give explanation to this mystery that is kept intact in spite of the passage of time, and it is because  the  climate is dry  and with scanty rainfalls of rains, with a soil rich in minerals, have permitted that these lines are kept until now.

Royal Tombs Of Sipan

The remains were found in Sipán located in Zaña's district. The discovery of the royal tombs of the Lord of Sipan marked an important milestone in the archaeology of the American continent because for the first time, it was situated intact and without fingerprints of plunders, a royal burial of a Peruvian civilization previous to the Incas. 

Due to its high hierarchy and its semidivine power, this leader was buried together with seven sacrificed people. Apparently, for the gowns and opposing skeletons, this fact means that there was the Lord´s wife and  two women possibly concubines, a military chief, a watchman, a standard-bearer and a child.  Among the opposing animals there was a dog and two white llamas.

Inside the tomb of the Lord  of Sipán,  different objects of goldwork, golden laminated pieces, earflaps, narigueras were found. Besides there were ceramic Mochicas.

Paracas

Paracas is a beautiful Resort in the shape of  Paracas bay, it  means " Rain of Sand ", because in this place the winds are carriers of sand; they  can reach a speed of 32km per hour.

Paracas has been declared as a National Reserve of migratory birds.  

Visiting Paracas it is possible to enjoy the beauty of the different ecosystems that coexist in it, the archaeological remains of the Paracas culture and observe the great diversity of the marine fauna that inhabits in the zone.

Machu Picchu: Marvelous of the World

Machu Picchu is located 120 kilometers to the Northwest of Cusco's city with 2,400 meters height. The only exit ramps are by train (4 hours), helicopter (30 minutes) or walking. There is no a road that communicates Cusco's city and Machu Picchu's ruins, the reason is the difficult geography since the citadel is located in the top of a hill in the middle of a mountainous mountain chain cut only by the river Urubamba.

Machu Picchu's citadel is one of the archaeological jewels of the world and the most important tourist destination of Peru.

Maybe Machu Picchu's major attraction is the technological development level achieved by its builders for the architecture and the stonework. The unions of the stones in some of the environments are so narrow that not even a pin might be inserted. The most significant stone is the "Intihuatana" or solar calendar, which was allowing to the Incas to know accurately the seasons and the climate throughout the year. Nevertheless, many people think in Machu Picchu more than the history and former technologies, also there is an energy and peace that surrounds everybody who t comes and visits so mysterious place.

Titicaca: The Mystical lake of the Inkas

It is remote, and  also mysterious, and immense, this interior sea goads the imagination of every visitor, on having crossed its waters, because of  that it is named the highest navigable lake of the world, with 3.812 meters on the level of the sea, by a maximum depth of 280 meters, spreads on approximately 8000 square kilometres.

In the past it was  venerated by the Incas and today it is  considered as one of the purest places of the world, it is the origin of this empire. There are many  legends: one of them assures that the Sun and the Moon sheltered in its waters, in the darkness, during the days of the deluge, and there  were the gods who gave the  origin to the world.

The Lake Titicaca provides the most beautiful landscapes that you could imagine, with its harmonious waters overturned against the gigantic peaks of the Bolivian Andes, which eternal snow seems to monitor forever the destinies of the islands that the aborigens dedicated to their  gods. These islands that break the surface of the water are not only the “afloraciones”  of the same mountain chain that surrounds the lake.

The region of the Titicaca can be visited all the year , thanks to a sunny climate but moderated by the height, it refreshes the nights of the altiplane making get down notably the temperature.

Our company is situated in the city of Trujillo and it was created in 2010, being still a young company we decide to create this web site in order to announce to the entire world the richness of the Peruvian crafts.
